Market Comments for Feb 5, 2010

The S&P was hit early in the day as the sell side worked very well. Around 2:00, the buyers came in as the market become very oversold. As the market made the 4th push lower at the monthly S1, a rebound was in the making. As it turns out, the shorts covered positions and buyers came in droves.
The question now is whether this late day bounce will mark a near term bottom or quickly be reversed on Monday.
